Students and parents at APADERWA School, located in Kimisagara Sector, Nyarugenge District, Kigali City, have expressed their appreciation for the quality of education and values provided at the institution. They pledged to continue working closely with the school to further improve their children’s academic performance.
The day was marked by celebrations as nursery and primary school graduates were awarded certificates in recognition of their achievements and commitment throughout their years at the school. The event also featured appreciation for teachers, with parents gifting cow to the school’s teaching staff as a gesture of gratitude for their dedication in educating and raising their children.
Niyoyita Ally and his fellow student Niyonsaba Feza Rena Sabato, who completed primary education, praised the education and upbringing they received at APADERWA. They said they are well prepared for the upcoming national examinations.
Mukankiko Fatuma, a parent at APADERWA School, expressed her joy during the ceremony.
"It is awesome to see a child start from nursery and continue up to Primary Six at this school. We used to worry about the poor condition of the road, but today we thank His Excellency President Paul Kagame for constructing this road. Our children can now travel safely and conveniently."
The Head of APADERWA School, Mr. Babonangenda Modeste, described the event as a special day, saying it brought them greater joy than usual because of the parents’ gesture of gifting a cow to teachers in appreciation of the education and values they have provided to students.
He also shared a message with parents and students.
"This is an annual event where we celebrate our achievements. It was an opportunity to recognize nursery and primary school graduates. It was truly a special and memorable day, different from previous ones, as parents gifted a cow to teachers in appreciation of the knowledge and values they have given their children."
Modeste also thanked parents for choosing APADERWA among many schools and encouraged them to continue supporting the institution.
